MARBLES, small spherical toys usually made from glass, clay, stone or plastic.
These balls vary in size. Most commonly, they are about 9/16 inch to 1 inch (14 to 25mm) in diameter.

Cat's eye, A cat's eye marble is made of mostly clear glass with a vain of colored glass.
They can look almost like a solid color marble when they are turned sideways.
The vain can be several different colors or can have multiple colors in the clear glass.
Clearie, A clearie is a marble that has a transparent color in a variety of colors.
The clearie is frequently used in flower vases to give them a variety of colors with a clear vase.
They are often called decorative or accent marbles because they can be used in many ways accent a display.
If they say they are iridized or iridescent they will have a shiny or oily look to the surface of the glass.
Solid Color Marbles are opaque marbles that are used
mostly for game boards like Chinese Checkers, aggravation, wahoo, joker, dirty marbles and
others. Round and flat solid color marbles are used for decoration.
The colors of the marbles can be a lot different from one batch to the next. The chemicals they use, the time and temperature the glass is melted and the way they are mixed can all have a different effect on the out come color of the glass.
Rainbow Marbles are made with a base color and different patch colors the photo showes white based rainbow marbles.
The patch color can be one color or multiple colors.
Peewee Marbles Any tiny marble, usually 1/2" or smaller. Shown here are cat's eye peewee marbles about 1/2" diameter. The smaller size are offen used to make jewelry, like earrings or small necklaces.
